Packing Plywood

Packaging plywood is a light-weight, high-strength plywood designed for packing large items. It is mainly used to make transport packaging such as crates, wooden cases, and pallets for equipment, instruments, furniture, battery and glass. Packaging plywood protects cargo from damage during transportation and is an important material in China’s export industry.

Our company has nearly 20 years of plywood manufacturing experience, with rich experience in hot-press machinery, adhesive production, and wood rotary cutting. We began producing packaging plywood in 2024 and quickly stood out.

Our packaging plywood supports 2440*1220*(5-20)mm, usually made with Eucalyptus and UF resin adhesive, specification and material can be customized.

Manufacturing Process

Veneer checks

All veneers must be checked for length, width, thickness, and moisture. After acceptance, they are stacked in the warehouse (as shown in the picture on the left).

Eco-friendly glue application

Eucalyptus veneers are glue-coated. The adhesive is eco-friendly urea-formaldehyde resin glue, with options meeting national E1 or E2 standards.

Cross-layup

On the production line, veneers are arranged in a cross-laminated pattern. If a veneer has gaps, wood scraps are used to fill them to prevent voids in the packaging board.

Cutting and precise stacking

The panel blank is cut into a fixed size. And automatic stacking machine stacks the blanks precisely.

pre-press stage

The blanks are sent to pre-press.

Hot press

After pre-pressing, the blanks go to the hot press. Under high temperature and pressure, the glue cures and the packaging board is fully formed.

Edge trimming to spec

After forming, the board is sent to the edge-trimming saw to remove excess edges so the length and width meet the specified dimensions.

08

Final manual QC check

After trimming, skilled workers check physical parameters, specifications, and thickness to confirm they meet the standard.
