Film-Faced Plywood
Film-faced formwork plywood is wooden plywood covered by Phenolic resin impregnated paper to form a high-quality engineered panels. The surface is smooth and glossy, and it offers strong durability (weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and chemical resistance) as well as good stain resistance.
When used in construction, film-faced plywood help create a smoother concrete surface, making form removal easier and reducing the need for secondary plastering. This improves work efficiency and saves labor and materials, while avoiding any pollution to the building.
We are FSC certified. Our film-faced plywood supports 1830 × 915 × (7–25) mm; 1830 × 1220 × (7–25) mm; 2440 × 1220 × (7–25) mm, material can be pine or eucalyptus, other size and material can be customized.
- Water resistance; Corrosion resistance
- High reusability
- Smooth surface
- Easy to process
- Resistant to deformation
- Good thermal insulation; suitable for winter construction
Manufacturing Process
Film coating
Film-faced plywood production is similar to construction formwork plywood. The difference is: formwork plywood is coated with a layer of phenolic resin glue, while film-faced formwork plywood is covered with a sheet of film paper on the panel blank. The film paper is made by a special paper with amino resin or phenolic resin.
Pressed, trimmed, edge-protected
After the film paper is applied, the board is hot-pressed to form the film-faced panel blank. It then goes through edge trimming and waterproof edge painting to produce the finished film-faced formwork panel.
