Concrete Formwork Plywood

Construction formwork plywood is a durable, waterproof, engineered wood panel used to create molds (forms) for pouring concrete.

Construction formwork is widely used in building projects, including high-rise buildings, basement construction, factories, bridges, and highway projects. It is also used in logistics applications, often as decking panels for trailers and trucks.

Heli Wood Industry Co,Ltd has been producing construction formwork since 2000. With more than 25 years of experience, we have built a strong reputation in the industry. We provide customers with professional products, along with responsible and professional after-sales service to support customers throughout their projects.

Our factories manufacture from logs to plywood. We have 5 wood slicing factories and 5 plywood workshops, enabling us to provide products with cost-efficiency and high customization.

Manufacturing Process

01

Log preparing and peeling

Logs are cut into sections and debarked, and fed into peeling machine to produce veneer sheets with suitable thickness.

02

Automated stacking

The veneers are transported and automatically stacked.

03

Moisture control

After air-drying naturally to the proper moisture content, they are collected and sent to the formwork workshop.

04

Plywood blank production

In the formwork production workshop, veneers are evenly coated with glue and then enter the assembly line. They are formed in a cross-laminated arrangement to increase the strength of the board.

05

Pre-press

After the plywood blank is formed, it went to pre-press. Pre-pressing improves bonding and enhances glue adhesion.

06

Surface resin coating

After pre-pressing, the formwork surface is covered with phenolic resin glue.

07

Hot press and inspection

The board then goes through hot pressing under high temperature and pressure, which cures the glue and makes the board solid and reliable. After hot pressing, professional QC ensures there are no defects such as delamination.

08

Trim, seal, and store

The formwork is trimmed to standard dimensions. After waterproof paint is applied to the edges, it passes size inspection and then stored in the warehouse.
